I´ll try to stay safe. It´s actually not all that dangerous during the games of Brasil because nobody is on the street. For 2 hours literally it´s like a ghost street. Although, when they make a goal there´s a loud cheering/screaming heard from everyhouse with a 5 second delay of really loud fireworks!! Every time they score I have a mini heart attach. Yeah that was the life for me for about 6 months...just bumming it. Now I automatically wake up before my alarm. Not because I´m accustomed to it, but because I drink so much water that my bladder complains in the mornings. I started reading the Doctine and Covenants I think a week ago and it´s got some stuff I didn´t know about.
The studying in the morning has actually become one of my favorite hours. I have a nice time to just read and think without a whole tons of distractions. I made six months here! HOly cow! We have a bunch of good lessons to start. We actually had a baptism fall through this week, though, because a member of the church said some things to him which didn´t sit well with him. So as members, we need to be so careful in what we say to others and around others. I was so happy beause he was going to have tons of blessings in his life, but when it fell I felt really lost and upset. I´ll try to do better this week. It´s difficult sometimes to keep animated, so These days that Brasil play are well needed days of rest.
I love you all,
Elder Padilla
